Using the car scheme

 

SWRCCS exists for permanent residents of the area. We are sorry but car runs for visitors or temporary residents  will not be available unless the visitor is visiting a permanent resident in order to support them.

Under 18 year olds will need to be accompanied.

Booking

It couldn’t be easier to book transport on our dedicated booking line. Simply call:

and tell us where you are, where you want to go and when you need to travel.

​

We tend to need at least 48 hours notice (longer if possible) but will always try to accommodate you if you can only give us less notice. It is always helpful in finding a suitable volunteer driver if you are able to be a little flexible about the time that you travel, but we understand that appointments are often not negotiable.

Currently only medical journeys are supported due to Covid Pandemic restrictions on sharing cars
